| Another new virus is travelling and spreading around the world so quickly. It's only been 4 or 5 days since the very first case was reported in Mexico last weekend, and now it's threatening the whole planet. The speed of the spread is way beyond our imagination. We have to be so ready for it before it comes to HK, which is highly possible sooner or later.
I was in Melbourne when all the HK people suffered by SARS, so I was lucky. Since then, we had been taught to be clean and hygienic. I do, now, wash my hands more often than ever. I, honestly, do believe that we've learned a lot from SARS, so when the swine flu does come, we'll be ready and will not suffer as badly as we did during the SARS period. Everyone I know, no matter you're in HK or Melbourne, be healthy!!

| It's been about 3 weeks since I started the current position. It is all new and fresh for me, coming from a totally different industry and job nature. I did study accounting at uni, but it was about 3 or 4 years ago, and I don't expect myself to remember all the acccounting thing that I learned. That's why I found it hard at the beginning, making same mistakes over and over again, which really sucks me. Lucky I am a kind of person who always believes I can improve in the short given time, and I am aiming to improve. I do not want to make any careless and repeated mistakes, and I hate that. I'm keen to improve and to impress. Though, it hasn't been easy, I'm actually enjoying what I'm doing right now. Hopefully I would move on and up, and go up to the hill soon.
There are so much stuff that attract me to buy, glasses, phone, camera, shoes and PS3. I've bought none at the moment, but PS3 would be the on top of my list!! Where do I get all the money??

| I've finally got through this period.
This is such a huge relief for me, and thanks for everyone who had been encouraging me and thank you for giving me so much positive energy.
I don't officially start until 16/03. So, starting from next week, I'll have to adjust my physical clock, and get used to waking up early. I believe I'll pretty much enjoy it after such a long holiday.
I am ready!! And it starts here!!

| From being hopeful to being frustrated!!
It hasn't been easy to stay positive while feeling frustrated.
I don't know how long this situation will last, but it is certainly taking a lot longer than it was expected.
I've been trying hard, mentally. Been trying not to worry anyone.
And I will keep doing this, making myself looking okay and positive.
Will it end soon??

| First thing to say, Happy Ox Year!!
In the last 6 months, we so often hear people "one-in-100-yr", like the financial crisis that's been damaging every nation. Two of my most loved places are currently suffering so badly by the "on-in-100-yr" financially and naturally.
Of course, like anywhere else, HK is going through such a nasty period economically that no one can predict how bad it would be. HK, however, is an amazing place. I have my strong faith in HK, and strongly believe that we will turn things around and recover pretty quickly. We always create miracle and this is no difference this time.
Melbourne is another place damaged by another "one-in-100-yr" disaster, heatwave. Tempature didn't drop below 41C during day time in the last 4 days. This is really unheard-of. I lived in Melbourne for 8 years. I did have some very hot days of more than 40C, but it had never happened in 3 consecutive days. The even worst thing is they had power cut off last night due to the overloading and the explosion of one of the power station. The train was not running, the traffic lights were not working, plus hundreds of case of faslt alarm. I can't imagine how bad the situation is, this is unbearable. Hope that things are back to normal very soon. I love Melbourne
